Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of pcfy.sg and to all services provided by PCFY (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website, accepting a quotation or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

PCFY provides residential and small-business services in Singapore, including electrical works, home and office networking, Wi-Fi setup, structured cabling, CCTV installation, intercom and door access systems, and PC and IT support. The exact scope of each job is set out in the quotation or invoice.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation.
Quotations are based on the information, photos and site details you provide. If on-site conditions differ (for example, hidden wiring faults, concealed trunking, or additional cabling distance), we will inform you and agree on any extra charges before continuing.
Any work not listed in the quotation is considered additional work and will be charged separately.

3. Bookings, Rescheduling and Cancellations

Appointments are confirmed once you accept the quotation and pay any deposit required.
Please inform us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Late cancellations, or cases where our technician cannot access the premises at the agreed time, may be subject to a call-out fee.
Equipment ordered specially for your job may not be refundable once ordered.

4. Payment

A deposit may be required before work starts or equipment is ordered.
The balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment can be made through the methods stated on your quotation or invoice.
Ownership of all supplied equipment remains with PCFY until full payment is received.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

give our technicians safe and timely access to the premises and work areas;
obtain any approvals needed from your landlord, management corporation (MCST) or HDB town council;
provide accurate information about the property and existing systems;
back up your data before any PC, network or storage-related work; and
keep the work area clear and secure any valuables.

6. Electrical Works

Electrical works are carried out in line with applicable Singapore regulations. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, non-compliant wiring or defects in the property’s original installation that are discovered during the job. If we find a safety issue, we may stop work until it is resolved.

7. CCTV and Surveillance Systems

You are responsible for the placement and use of your CCTV cameras, including making sure they comply with Singapore laws, the PDPA, and any HDB, MCST or landlord guidelines.
Cameras should not intrude on the privacy of neighbours or record areas you are not entitled to monitor.
PCFY is not responsible for how footage is recorded, stored, used or shared after installation.

8. Customer-Supplied Equipment

If you supply your own equipment, cables or devices, we are not responsible for their quality, compatibility or performance, and our workmanship warranty will not cover faults caused by that equipment.

9. Warranty

Our workmanship is covered by a warranty for the period stated on your quotation or invoice.
Equipment supplied by us is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and we will assist with claims where possible.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, power surges, lightning, water damage, pests, tampering, or modifications made by anyone other than PCFY.

10. Internet and Network Performance

Wi-Fi speed and coverage depend on factors outside our control, including your internet service provider, building structure, interference and the devices you use. We will set up your network to the best achievable performance but cannot guarantee specific speeds.

11. Data and Software

We are not responsible for loss of data, software, settings or configurations during PC, storage, network or system work. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

PCFY is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, income, business or use.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a job will not exceed the amount you paid for that job.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

13. Website Use

The content on pcfy.sg is for general information only. All text, images, logos and design on the website belong to PCFY or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our work, please contact us as soon as possible after completion. We will review the issue and work with you to resolve it fairly.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that job.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
